The Canal Gallery is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to the creation and display of new and contemporary visual works. It features studios for working artists, and has displayed exhibits by such prominent figures as multimedia installationists Lisa Yetz and Saralyn F. Fosnight, and circus-themed photos and paintings by the husband-and-wife team of Jerry Sheik and Judith Kalina. The Gallery occupies a 19th-century paper mill in the downtown area, next to Heritage Park.
